Starck design on the Grand Canal
The name of Venice, La Serenissima, reminds me of Romain Gary, the greenish waters lapping at the foot of palazzi, and also mythical resorts as Danieli and Gritti. But you might want to stay with a view of the Grand Canal without falling into the gold of the city. Palazzina G has been completely redesigned for its first Italian experience by Philippe Starck. If there's a wink to the mirrors so famous of the city and to the renowned carnival masks, it is in a much design environment combining white and shine that we are welcomed in this hotel.
