Amazon lance deux marques de mobilier avec le but avoué de concurrencer  Ikea , ce dernier s'apprêtant à mettre en ligne sa propre marketplace. Baptisées Movian et Alkove (un clin d'oeil aux noms de chez le Suédois ?), ces deux lignes seront pour l'instant vendues exclusivement en Europe. La ligne Movian s'inspire du style scandinave et propose du mobilier pour le salon, la salle à manger, la chambre, et des prix d'entrée de gamme. La ligne Alkove quant à elle, se positionne en plus haut de gamme, avec des matériaux qualitatifs comme le cuir ou le bois massif, mais toujours avec un design inspiré par la Scandinavie.

Amazon is launching two furniture brands with the objective of competing with Ikea, who is about to launch his own marketplace. Baptized Movian and Alkove (a nod to the Swedish names?), these two lines will be sold exclusively in Europe for the moment. The Movian line is inspired by the Scandinavian style and offers furniture for the living room, dining room, bedroom, and entry-level prices. The Alkove line is positioned at the top of the range, with high-quality materials such as leather or solid wood, but always with a design inspired by Scandinavia.
