Vivre dans une maison flottante en bois et acier sur l'eau à Seattle
Construite sur une ancienne barge du 19è siècle, cette maison en bois est installée sur l'eau, sur la baie de Portage à Seattle. Ryan Mankoski de Ninebark Design Build et Dyna Contracting ont collaboré à la création de ce bâtiment pour un propriétaire préoccupé par les problèmes environnementaux. Pour réduire son impact écologique, il a travaillé avec l'architecte pour créer une maison fonctionnelle construite avec du bois de cèdre récupéré et d'un mélange d'acier de construction et de verre. Le cèdre récupéré est non traité, et usiné localement.

The salvaged cedar is untreated, and is locally manufactured.
