Dans un bâtiment des années 1900 à Lisbonne, António Costa Lopes, un architecte et son épouse Filipa Fortunato, ont créé la Casa Fortunato, un bâtiment ancien aux destinées diverses qui est devenu un hôtel intime qui ressemble à une maison de famille. La décoration n'a rien de classique, elle navigue entre le mobilier contemporain et les couleurs, et dynamise les volumes des différents espaces. Le couple y habite également au dessus des suites, et en a fait un lieu vivant à l'année.
