Les Anglais sont passés maîtres dans l'extension des maisons depuis des années. Elle est particulièrement intéressante dans un pays où le coût de l'immobilier est élevé, et où chaque mètre carré créé est un investissement rentable, surtout comme ici à Londres. Cette maison victorienne a été agrandie sur l'arrière, comme bien souvent, et l'extension créée accueille une cuisine au design acier et bois, conçue par Bulthaup, et plutôt originale. La façade avant n'a pas été touchée,  et la rénovation menée par les architectes Douglas Paskin et Lyndon Goode a conservé les proportions traditionnelles de la bâtisse.

The English have been masters in the extension of houses for years. It is particularly interesting in a country where the cost of real estate is high, and where every square metre created is a profitable investment, especially like here in London. This Victorian house has been extended at the back, as is often the case, and the extension created accommodates a kitchen with a steel and wood design, designed by Bulthaup, which is rather original. The front façade has not been altered, and the renovation by architects Douglas Paskin and Lyndon Goode has retained the traditional proportions of the building.
