Il y a quelques années, la designer d'intérieur Tara Flanagan a acheté cette maison dans la province de Gérone en Espagne. Bien que charmante, elle nécessitait une rénovation importante, pour redistribuer les espaces, et lui apporter de la lumière. C'est l'architecte d'intérieur Josep Curanta, qui l'a aidé dans cette tâche délicate. La décoration est en harmonie avec le style rustique de la maison, où le blanc des murs met en valeur les poutres, et le mobilier ancien apporté d'Angleterre ou chiné dans les marchés aux puces de la région, trouve sa place naturellement.

Spanish house with a rustic soul for an English designer
A few years ago, interior designer Tara Flanagan bought this house in the province of Girona in Spain. Although charming, it was in need of a major renovation, to redistribute the spaces and bring light to it. Interior architect Josep Curanta helped her with this delicate task. The decoration is in harmony with the rustic style of the house, where the white of the walls highlights the beams, and the antique furniture brought from England or found in the flea markets of the region, finds its natural place.
