Une maison d'architecte de 100m2 préfabriquée en acier Corten
L' Infiniski Menta House conçue par les architectes de James & Mau est un cube en acier Corten de 100m² préfabriqué et livré sur site en Espagne. Elle comporte un salon avec cuisine ouverte, deux chambres et une salle de bain. La transition entre l'extérieur et l'intérieur est fluide, et ses volets en acier Corten perforés donnent une allure poétique à l'ensemble, avec leurs découpes en forme de feuilles de Schefflera elegantissima qui projettent des formes lumineuses à l'intérieur pendant la journée et à l'extérieur la nuit. La maison est bioclimatique, avec une ventilation naturelle, et une utilisation de l'énergie solaire. Un peu comparable aux maisons containers, elle est toutefois faite de 3 modules préfabriqués métalliques (transport ISO) qui servent de structure. En 2012, la maison a été construite en 3 mois.
