La société allemande Containerwerk, a transformé des vieux conteneurs de transport maritime de 40 pieds en deux maisons pour la Design Week de Milan en 2018. Le co-fondateur de l'entreprise, Ivan Mallinowski, a inventé un système industriel pour recouvrir les structures d'une couche de mousse isolante afin de supprimer le principal problème de ce type de maison : l'isolation et la présence de ponts thermiques. L'entreprise recycle désormais les containers et les livre à des architectes qui en font des maisons. Nous découvrons ici un des modèles, parfaitement équipé en style design, et même un second puisque ce projet a été effectué avec deux modules superposés.

The German company, Containerwerk, transformed old 40-foot shipping containers into two houses for Design Week in Milan in 2018. The co-founder of the company, Ivan Mallinowski, invented an industrial system to cover the structures with a layer of insulating foam to eliminate the main problem of this type of house: insulation and the presence of thermal bridges. The company now recycles the containers and delivers them to architects who turn them into houses. Here we find one of the models, perfectly equipped in design style, and even a second one, since this project was carried out with two modules positioned on top of each other.
