Une incroyable maison en verre inspirée d'une grange dans le Maryland

Cette incroyable maison en verre possède une architecture inspirée par les granges de la région du Maryland, avec un toit rouge, et une sorte de "silo" surmonté d'un puits de lumière hexagonal. Et si elles sont le point focal de toutes les pièces, les surfaces vitrées n'apportent aucune sensation de froideur, grâce à l'utilisation d'un bois chaud pour les sols (du cerisier), et du mobilier aux lignes confortables. Le spectacle sur la nature est total, et si l'on souhaite s'en isoler un peu, ou tout simplement accéder à une intimité indispensable dans certaines pièces, un système invisible de stores sur le haut des fenêtres est installé, et facile à manipuler.

This incredible glass house has an architecture inspired by the barns of the Maryland region, with a red roof, and a sort of "silo" topped by a hexagonal skylight. And while they are the focal point of all the rooms, the glass surfaces don't make it feel cold, thanks to the use of a warm wood for the floors (cherry), and furniture with comfortable lines. The view of nature is total, and if one wishes to isolate oneself from it, or simply to have the privacy one needs in certain rooms, an invisible system of blinds on the top of the windows is installed, and easy to manipulate.
