La maison du capitaine est une grande demeure bardée de bois blanc, à l'architecture typique de la Suède, construite en 1909. Soigneusement rénovée, elle a été complétée par une mini maison pour les invités, construite sur son grand terrain proche d'un port. La maison a subi d'importants travaux de rénovation pour retrouver sa gloire d'antan. Les dessins originaux ont été respectés afin de recréer la belle architecture de la maison à l'extérieur, et à l'intérieur, un travail a été effectué pour trouver la meilleure façon d'obtenir un mode de vie contemporain sans trahir son âme rustique d'origine avec une belle décoration blanche et verte.
La luminosité est mise en valeur grâce à des murs et des sols peints en blanc où le vert vient apporter sa touche fraiche et printanière. Sous les combles, dans les charmantes chambres on retrouve cette décoration blanche et des tons naturels et neutres, très doux. La maison d'invités, avec sa façade rouge, comprend une grande pièce ouverte, une chambre et une mezzanine, de quoi accueillir confortablement les hôtes de passage. The Captain's House is a large, white wood-clad house with typical Swedish architecture, built in 1909. It has been carefully renovated and supplemented with a mini guest house built on its large grounds near a harbour. The house has been extensively renovated to its former glory. The original designs have been respected to recreate the beautiful architecture of the house on the outside, and on the inside, work has been done to find the best way to achieve a contemporary lifestyle without betraying its original rustic soul with beautiful white and green decoration.
The luminosity is enhanced by white walls and floors where green brings a fresh and spring-like touch. In the attic, in the charming bedrooms, we find the same white decoration and natural and neutral tones, very soft. The guest house, with its red facade, includes a large open room, a bedroom and a mezzanine, enough to comfortably welcome guests. How lucky you are to be friends with the owners!
