La rénovation totale en style contemporain de cet appartement à Barcelone a été menée de main de maître par sa propriétaire, Laura Pi, qui a su lui donner une décoration classique et intemporelle. Le mélange de meubles et de style est parfaitement réussi dans ce lieu situé dans un immeuble centenaire du quartier Sant Gervasi . Outre la décoration totalement refaite, le plan a été redistribué afin de correspondre aux attentes actuelles, avec des espaces plus largement ouverts.
Une salle de bain supplémentaire a été créée, une chambre a remplacé un ancien dressing, des couloirs ont été supprimés, et des verrières aux cadres en acier servent désormais de partitions entre l'entrée et le salon ainsi qu'entre ce dernier et la cuisine, en faisant de cet espace, une pièce ouverte et fermée à la fois. L'ancien sol en moquette grise a été remplacé par un beau parquet en chêne. An extra bathroom was created, a bedroom replaced an old walk-in wardrobe, corridors were removed, and steel-framed glass doors now serve as partitions between the entrance and the living room, and between the living room and the kitchen, making this space both open and closed. The old grey carpeted floor was replaced by a beautiful oak parquet. Laura wanted a contemporary style for this total renovation that would be warm and above all timeless. It's done, isn't it?
