Apple Barn est un cottage en pierres agrandi par une extension vitrée et rénové dans la région côtière du Devon en Angleterre. Il est situé dans la campagne typiquement britannique, très verte, faite de paysages vallonnés, de promenades sous le soleil et parfois sous la pluie pour observer la faune et la flore locales, et de tranquillité. On aime l'aspect rustique de ce cottage en pierres, et le contraste avec son intérieur plus contemporain, la mezzanine qui domine le salon à la grande hauteur sous plafond, sa simplicité à vivre. On imagine partir en randonnée depuis la maison, prendre un ferry ou louer un bateau pour une journée en mer, et revenir les bottes crottées d'une promenade à travers la lande, avec son Barbour très protecteur (comme la Reine), pour se réchauffer près du poêle. You can imagine going for a walk from the house, taking a ferry or hiring a boat for a day at sea, and coming back with your dirty boots from a walk across the moor, with your very protective Barbour (like the Queen), to warm up by the stove.
