Une maison construite il y a 90 ans modernisée pour un jeune couple
En Argentine, cette maison construite il y a 90 ans a été adaptée à la vie du jeune couple nouvellement propriétaire. Virginia et Ezequiel avait longtemps rêvé d'habiter dans une telle maison, et lorsqu'ils ont pu l'acquérir, ils ont décidé de confier à leur amie architecte Milagros Imhoff, de IMQ Arquitectos, le soin de les aider à réaliser sa modernisation. La maison était à l'origine déconnectée de l'extérieur, et il était indispensable de l'ouvrir sur son jardin, comme on aime le faire de nos jours. Les installations techniques, (électricité, eau, gaz ) nécessitaient également une totale modernisation et mise à niveau.
La cour, autrefois minérale est devenue un jardin à la verdure rafraîchissante, et le salon qui autrefois ne disposait que d'une seule et petite fenêtre comme il était d'usage pour une maison construite il y longtemps, a été ouvert sur le jardin avec une très grande baie vitrée qui l'illumine. Chaque rénovation a été faite dans le respect du caractère d'origine de la maison et elle conserve l'esprit d'une autre époque, tout en étant entrée dans la nôtre de la plus belle des façons. This 90-year-old house in Argentina has been adapted to the lives of the young couple who are the new owners. Virginia and Ezequiel had long dreamed of living in such a house, and when they were able to buy it, they decided to ask their architect friend Milagros Imhoff, from IMQ Arquitectos, to help them modernise it. The house was originally disconnected from the outside and it was essential to open it up to its garden, as people like to do nowadays. The technical installations (electricity, water, gas) also required total modernisation and upgrading.
The courtyard, which used to be mineral, has become a garden with refreshing greenery, and the living room, which used to have only one small window, as was customary for a house built a long time ago, has been opened up to the garden with a very large bay window which illuminates it. Each renovation has been done with respect to the original character of the house and it retains the spirit of another era, while having entered our own in the most beautiful way. Photo: Daniel Karp
