IKEA a aménagé cette colocation pour des jeunes filles et a demandé au décorateur maison Hans Blomquist de s'en occuper. L'ensemble est éclectique et coloré, et plutôt dans la tendance maximaliste, adorée par certains et détestée par d'autres. Les locataires se retrouvent dans la pièce commune, le salon, et comme elles aiment cuisiner, elles partagent de délicieux repas lorsqu'elles sont ensembles. Les deux chambres existantes ne sont pas de la même surface, mais assez bien organisées pour que chacune puisse s'isoler, et travailler lorsque cela est nécessaire.
Là était un autre problème à régler : trois colocataires et seulement deux chambres, et IKEA a aménagé cette colocation avec l'aide de son décorateur, l'appartement pour cette troisième personne, arrivée après les autres. Un lit se fermant par des rideaux aux motifs chatoyants a été installé dans un coin du salon, devenant discret dans la journée, et permettant une fois que les rideaux sont clos d'avoir une certaine intimité pendant que l'on dort, un peu comme on le ferait dans un studio. L'ensemble est original, et bien équilibré malgré la profusion des couleurs, et l'on sent ici la patte du professionnel, car c'est un mélange bien difficile à réaliser.

The tenants meet in the common room, the living room, and as they like to cook, they share delicious meals when they are together. The two existing bedrooms are not the same size, but they are well enough organised for each of them to have privacy, and to work when necessary.
This was another problem to solve: three housemates and only two bedrooms, and IKEA, with the help of its decorator, arranged this flat for this third person, who arrived after the others. A bed with shimmering curtains was installed in a corner of the living room, becoming discreet during the day, and once the curtains are closed, allowing some privacy while sleeping, a bit like in a studio. The whole is original, and well balanced despite the profusion of colours, and you can feel the professional's touch here, as it is a very difficult mix to achieve.
