Un studio de 26m2 pour quatre personnes aménagé au bord de la mer
C'est à la Grande Motte, la station balnéaire créée de toute pièce dans les années 60 au bord de la Méditerranée à quelques encâblures de Montpellier, que nous découvrons ce studio de 26m2 aménagé pour quatre personnes, et rénové par une architecte. D'un lieu banal, dont le principal intérêt était sa situation, elle a su faire à la demande des propriétaires, un bel appartement à la réelle personnalité, transformant cet ancien "studio-cabine", en une jolie résidence de vacances.
On peut aimer, ou ne pas aimer l'architecture de la ville (personnellement je l'aime), ces bâtiments blancs se détachant sur ce ciel bleu, avec leurs lignes contemporaines. Mais les longues plages, la mer, et les nombreux espaces verts sont un écrin pour ces bâtiments aux lignes contemporaines. C'est ici que Julie Dejean, de Quatre Murs & Un Toi est intervenue sur ce studio de 26m2 pour quatre personnes dans son jus (voir les photos avant en bas d'article) sur l'ensemble des espaces. L'appartement est désormais très confortable, et chaque zone a été parfaitement optimisée. Les murs ont été habillés d'un vert gris rehaussés par des touches noires et laiton et le graphisme apporté au lieu grâce aux claustras en demi lune lui donne une grande personnalité, bien loin de la banalité que l'on peut trouver dans ce type de logement. Un appartement de vacances où l'on s'installerait bien à l'année, n'est-ce pas?
It is in La Grande Motte, the seaside resort created from scratch in the 1960s on the Mediterranean coast a few blocks from Montpellier, that we discover this 26m2 studio apartment fitted out for four people and renovated by an architect. From a banal place, whose main interest was its location, she knew how to make, at the request of the owners, a beautiful flat with a real personality, transforming this former "studio-cabin" into a beautiful holiday home.
One may or may not like the architecture of the town (personally I do), these white buildings standing out against the blue sky, with their contemporary lines. But the long beaches, the sea, and the many green spaces are a setting for these contemporary buildings. This is where Julie Dejean, from Quatre Murs & Un Toi, worked on this 26m2 studio apartment for four people (see the front photos at the bottom of the article) on all the spaces. The flat is now very comfortable, and each area has been perfectly optimised. The walls have been dressed in grey-green with black and brass accents, and the graphic design of the half-moon screens gives the place a great personality, far from the banality that can be found in this type of accommodation. A holiday flat where one would settle all year round, wouldn't it?
