Cette maison au plan actuel a été réalisée par les professionnels de Vine Architecture Studio, à Londres dans un ancien relais de poste. Cette ancienne remise à calèches comme il en existait beaucoup à Londres autrefois , a conservé sa façade en briques londoniennes ornée de détails. Elle cache une belle rénovation contemporaine à l'intérieur, finaliste aux British Homes Awards 2020.

Dès l'entrée, derrière les grande portes anciennes conservées,  on découvre des espaces contemporains à la décoration vintage et aux influences industrielles.  Verrière intérieure de style Critall, escalier en acier plié se conjuguent avec le bois clair et les couleurs chaudes comme le terracotta pour créer un univers unique et chaleureux. Depuis la cuisine, où les grandes fenêtres effacent les frontières entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur, on accède à une petite cour pavée, verdoyante et charmante.

This contemporary house was created by the professionals at Vine Architecture Studio in London in a former coach house. This former carriage shed, like many in London in the past, has retained its London brick facade and detailing. It conceals a beautiful contemporary renovation inside, a finalist in the British Homes Awards 2020.

As soon as you enter, behind the large old doors that have been preserved, you discover contemporary spaces with vintage decoration and industrial influences.  The Critall-style interior partition and bent steel staircase combine with light wood and warm colours such as terracotta to create a unique and warm environment. From the kitchen, where the large windows blur the boundaries between inside and outside, you can access a small paved courtyard, green and charming.
