L'architecte Sofía Ledesma a rénové cet appartement en Argentine, transformé en un lieu contemporain lumineux après des travaux d'importance. Lorsqu'elle a visité les lieux, ils étaient sombres et mal organisés, mais elle a pu en voir immédiatement le potentiel, et a été séduite par la grande baie vitrée du salon qui donnait sur la verdure à l'arrière de l'immeuble. Elle a totalement rénové les lieux, en ouvrant les espaces, tout en conservant certaines zones séparées, comme la cuisine, puisqu'elle préfère les endroits fermés pour préparer les repas.
Un espace bureau a pris également place dans le salon, lui permettant de travailler à domicile confortablement. Il a été réalisé sur mesure avec du bois. Le salon est aménagé de façon à profiter au maximum de la baie vitrée, et de sa lumière. Si la décoration est plutôt design, l'apport du bois dans les différents espaces adoucit grandement cette modernité. C'est un bois local, le goyavier qui a été utilisé pour cela, et ses teintes chaudes apportent un réel sentiment de bien-être à cet appartement en Argentine, transformé en un lieu contemporain et lumineux. Architect Sofía Ledesma renovated this flat in Argentina into a bright contemporary space after extensive work. When she visited the place, it was dark and unorganised, but she could immediately see its potential, and was seduced by the large bay window in the living room that overlooked the greenery at the back of the building. She completely renovated the space, opening up the areas, while keeping some areas separate, such as the kitchen, as she prefers enclosed areas for preparing meals.
An office space was also created in the living room, allowing her to work from home in comfort. It was custom-made with wood. The living room is arranged to make the most of the bay window and its light. Although the decoration is rather design-oriented, the use of wood in the different spaces greatly softens the modernity. A local wood, the guava tree, was used for this purpose, and its warm colours bring a real sense of well-being to this flat in Argentina, transformed into a contemporary and bright place.
