Depuis la terrasse sur la mer de Casona Sforza, on peut profiter de la vue sur l'océan et s'imprégner de la beauté des paysages du Mexique
C'est à Puerto Escondido sur la côte du Mexique que nous découvrons Casona Sforza, une bâtisse aux lignes courbes et aux tons de terre, créée par Ezequiel Ayarza Sforza. Il a voulu ce lieu comme un lien entre la modernité et la tradition mexicaine de cette région, qui donne une place prépondérante à la nature. Depuis la terrasse sur la mer, on peut profiter de la vue sur l'océan, les plantes indigènes, et s'imprégner de la beauté des paysages.
Si le fondateur désirait au départ construire une maison pour lui-même, le financement pour le faire s'est révélé ardu, et il a finalement décidé de créer Casona Sforza, un hôtel avec 11 chambres seulement dont la conception est basée sur des techniques millénaires. C'est en collaboration avec l'architecte réputé Alberto Kalach que les plans ont vu le jour. Les voûtes en arc sont une des caractéristiques du bâtiment, et sont non seulement anti-sismiques, mais laissent l'énergie et les pensées positives circuler dans les chambres. It is in Puerto Escondido on the coast of Mexico that we discover Casona Sforza, a building with curved lines and earth tones, created by Ezequiel Ayarza Sforza. He wanted this place to be a link between modernity and the Mexican tradition of this region, which gives a predominant place to nature. From the terrace overlooking the sea, one can enjoy the view of the ocean, the native plants, and soak up the beauty of the landscape.
Although the founder originally wanted to construct a house for himself, financing to do so proved difficult, and he eventually decided to create Casona Sforza, a hotel with only 11 bedrooms, whose design is based on millennia-old techniques. The plans were drawn up in collaboration with the renowned architect Alberto Kalach. The arched vaults are a feature of the building, and are not only earthquake-proof, but also allow energy and positive thoughts to flow into the bedrooms. It feels like a cosy, nurturing cocoon.
