Une maison en mélèze à la montagne rêvée par sa propriétaire

Cette maison en mélèze, un véritable chalet avec des vues magnifiques au cœur des Pyrénées françaises, est celle de l'architecte d'intérieur Isabelle Mouriès. Elle a longtemps rêvé de faire construire une maison inspirée par la Scandinavie par le constructeur Michel Astaing de Nordika Chalets. Ce qui fut fait pour son quarantième anniversaire et celui de son mari (beau cadeau n'est-ce pas?). On peut parfois trouver que le bois est trop présent dans les maisons de montagne. Pourtant ici, il prend toute sa valeur, et grâce aux grandes fenêtres et à la décoration confortable, il n'en fait jamais trop. Canapés profonds et tapis berbères renouvellent l'esprit montagne en lui apportant une touche du sud.

Cette maison en mélèze pourrait être le symbole de ce qui se construit de mieux à la montagne à notre époque. Elle est parfaitement intégrée au paysage du village pittoresque des Pyrénées-Orientales où elle se trouve, grâce à une construction dont la structure est constituée d'un système constructif de piliers, de poutres rabotées en douglas et de lambris en bois ancien. Larch house in the mountains dreamed up by its owner

This larch house, a real chalet with magnificent views in the heart of the French Pyrenees, belongs to interior designer Isabelle Mouriès. She had long dreamed of having a Scandinavian-inspired house constructed by builder Michel Astaing of Nordika Chalets. This was done for her and her husband's fortieth birthday (a nice gift, isn't it?). It is sometimes said that wood is too present in mountain houses. However, here it comes into its own, and thanks to the large windows and comfortable decor, it never overdoes it. Deep sofas and Berber carpets renew the mountain spirit by giving it a southern touch.

This larch house could be the symbol of the best that is constructed in the mountains today. It is perfectly integrated into the landscape of the picturesque village in the Pyrenees-Orientales where it is located, thanks to a construction whose structure is made up of a system of pillars, planed Douglas fir beams and old wood panelling.
