Une maison ajoutée sur le toit d'un immeuble aux Pays-Bas
Lorsque les terrains manquent dans les grandes villes, et que les structures des immeubles les permettent, la construction d'un logement qu'on ajoute sur un toit est une solution envisageable, du moins si les municipalités l'autorisent. C'est une de ces réalisations que je vous propose de découvrir ici, avec cette maison ajoutée sur le toit d'un immeuble à La Haye, cette grande ville des Pays-Bas, réalisée par le fondateur de Bloot Architecture, Tjeerd Bloothoofd. Elle a été construite au dessus de l'appartement d'origine afin de l'agrandir en créant trois chambres et une terrasse accessible.
C'est une extension réalisée en acier, d'une surface de 60m2, sur un bâtiment typique des années 1930, qui crée un contraste avec les toits droits environnants. Cette maison ajoutée sur le toit présente trois chambres. Une terrasse extérieure fait le tour de la maison. Du bois de cèdre rouge complète la structure et le sol de la terrasse. La maison s'ouvre largement sur son paysage urbain grâce à ses grandes baies vitrées, et domine le paysage. When land is scarce in large cities, and building structures allow it, building a home on top of a roof is a possible solution, at least if the municipalities allow it. This is one of these projects that I am proposing to you here, with this house added on the roof of a building in The Hague, this large city in the Netherlands, made by the founder of Bloot Architecture, Tjeerd Bloothoofd. It was built on top of the original flat to enlarge it by creating three bedrooms and an accessible terrace.
It is a steel extension with a surface area of 60m2, on a typical 1930s building, which creates a contrast with the surrounding straight roofs. The roof addition has a floor plan that features three bedrooms. An outdoor terrace runs around the house. Red cedar wood completes the structure and the floor of the terrace. The house opens up widely to its urban landscape thanks to its large windows, and dominates the landscape.
