Construite en 1907, la Skofabriken de Malmö, a été transformée en un immeuble résidentiel. Cette ancienne usine de chaussures du sud de la Suède, a conservé sa belle façade. On y trouve désormais des logements modernes, comme ce deux-pièces ensoleillé de 53m2, où la décoration design et blanche met en valeur la luminosité. Built in 1907, the Skofabriken in Malmö has been transformed into a residential building. This former shoe factory in southern Sweden has retained its beautiful facade. It now houses modern accommodation, such as this sunny 53m2 one-bedroom apartment, where the white design decor emphasises the brightness. In order to keep the impression of space, the bedroom is separated from the living room by a partition, with light lines and structure.

Nice details have been kept, like the cast iron radiators. The floor has been given a light, contemporary finish to make it easier to maintain. The vaults in the ceiling are a reminder of the industrial past and have been painted white to retain the light. In this bright one-bedroom flat of 53m2, a harmonious mix of new and old has been achieved, making this place both modern and full of personality.
