Décoration design et neutre dans une maison en pierres à la montagne
Cette ancienne grange à foin à la montagne dans la région de la Cerdagne en Espagne a été transformée en un lieu moderne, à la décoration design et neutre. La construction est un modèle d'équilibre entre l'esprit rustique d'origine, et l'habitat contemporain. Elle a respecté l'esthétique et l'architecture locale des Pyrénées catalanes. Ce n'était pas une maison immense au départ avec ses deux niveaux de 35m2 pour la famille qui venait de l'acquérir, après de longues recherches.
Et si une rénovation était envisagée au départ, elle n'a pas été possible comme prévu. La maison était en si mauvais état qu'elle a dû être démolie car les murs en pierre existants ne supportaient aucune intervention. L'architecte Helena Puig de PPT Interiorismo, a donc décidé de de tirer parti de la pierre d'origine et de la reconstruire. Elle a travaillé en collaboration avec Jordi Vinyes de GR4 Arquitectes, un studio spécialisé dans la construction de maisons typiques de la région. De 70m2 sur deux étages, on est passé à 120m2 et un grenier, divisés en 3 chambres et 3 salles de bain. La décoration design et neutre de cette maison que l'on ne distingue pas de ses voisines, tant elle a été bien pensée, a complété le tableau.
This former hay barn in the mountains of Spain's Cerdanya region has been transformed into a modern home with a neutral design decor. The building is a model of balance between the original rustic spirit and contemporary living. It respects the aesthetics and local architecture of the Catalan Pyrenees. It wasn't a huge house from the outset, with its two 35m2 storeys for the family who had just bought it, after a long search.
And although renovation was envisaged at the outset, it was not possible as planned. The house was in such poor condition that it had to be demolished because the existing stone walls could not withstand any work. The architect, Helena Puig from PPT Interiorismo, therefore decided to take advantage of the original stone and rebuild it. She worked in collaboration with Jordi Vinyes of GR4 Arquitectes, a studio specialising in the construction of houses typical of the region. From 70m2 over two floors, the house has grown to 120m2 and an attic, divided into 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The design and neutral decor of this house, which is so well thought-out that it is indistinguishable from its neighbours, completes the picture.
