Cet appartement familial dans le Marais à Paris, est le pied-à-terre de ses propriétaires vivant à la campagne la plupart du temps, qui désiraient avoir un lieu où s'installer régulièrement dans la capitale pour profiter de tous ses plaisirs. Ils ont confié la rénovation de ce lieu plein de potentiel d'une surface de 72m2, à l'achitecte Camille Hermand, pour en faire l'endroit idéal pour se poser avec leurs deux enfants pendant leurs séjours en ville.
L'appartement n'avait que deux chambres, et ils en désiraient une supplémentaire afin que chacun puisse s'isoler quand il le souhaitait dans son propre univers. L'architecte a donc choisi d'en créer une pour les parents dans le grand salon, simplement séparé par une verrière qui peut s'occulter avec un lourd rideau pour plus d'intimité. La décoration est dépouillée, mais reste chaleureuse grâce au choix d'un mobilier confortable et pratique. Les formes rondes, les couleurs douces sont parfaites pour cet appartement parisien lumineux, qui a retrouvé une seconde jeunesse. This family flat in the Marais district of Paris is the pied-à-terre of its owners, who live in the country most of the time and wanted a place to settle down regularly in the capital to enjoy all its pleasures. They entrusted architect Camille Hermand with the renovation of this potential 72m2 apartment, to make it the ideal place to settle down with their two children while they were in town.
The flat only had two bedrooms, and they wanted an extra one so that they could each have their own space when they wanted it. The architect therefore chose to create one for the parents in the large living room, simply separated by a glass partition that can be hidden with a heavy curtain for greater privacy. The decor is simple, but warm thanks to the choice of comfortable, practical furniture. The round shapes and soft colours are perfect for this bright Parisian flat, which has been given a new lease of life.
