Cet appartement de 30m2 à Paris a été transformé en un joli pied-à-terre, par l'architecte Camille Hermand. Le couple des propriétaires, qui fait de fréquents séjours dans la capitale, souhaitait avoir un espace personnel, plutôt que de descendre à l'hôtel. L'architecte a souhaité conserver l'idée de la suite hôtelière, mais personnalisée au goût de ses clients, en revoyant l'ensemble du plan. Presque tous les murs ont disparu, libérant la vue sur la ville depuis la grande baie vitrée.
La chambre est installée derrière deux verrières en angle, et si la cuisine est de surface réduite,elle est parfaitement fonctionnelle.Dans une aussi petite surface, l'architecte a réussi a créer une salle de bain, et des toilettes séparées, et même une buanderie. La décoration vintage adoptée dans l'ensemble du projet rend l'atmosphère de cet appartement très douce, très parisienne, et pleine de charme, assortie au style de l'immeuble où il se trouve. This 30m2 flat in Paris has been transformed into a pretty pied-à-terre by architect Camille Hermand. The owners, a couple who frequently visit the capital, wanted to have their own space, rather than staying in a hotel. The architect wanted to retain the idea of the hotel suite, but personalise it to suit their clients' tastes, by revising the entire floor plan. Almost all the walls have disappeared, freeing up the view of the city from the large bay window.
The bedroom is set behind two angled partitions, and although the kitchen is small, it is perfectly functional: in such a small space, the architect has managed to create a bathroom, separate toilet and even a laundry room. The vintage decor used throughout the project gives the flat a very soft, Parisian feel, full of charm and in keeping with the style of the building in which it is located.
