Un lodge en bois à la décoration inspirante en Californie
Le Lodge at Marconi est installé dans les collines qui surplombent la baie de Tamales au nord de la Californie. C'est un lodge en bois à la décoration inspirante, qui a été créé dans d'anciens bâtiments d'un parc national. La couleur verte des façades se fond naturellement dans l'environnement, disparaissant presque dans le paysage. Ces bâtiments sont devenus un hôtel après des travaux réalisés par le studio de design Home Studios de New York.
La décoration reprend le style mid-century, qui a de plus en plus la vedette depuis quelques années. Et pour cause, c'est un style beau et intemporel, fait de matériaux nobles comme le bois, ou la céramique, qui donne des intérieurs chaleureux et accueillants. 45 chambres, certaines familiales, composent cet hôtel. Les professionnels qui ont réalisé la rénovation et la décoration des lieux ont choisi des couleurs reprenant les tons du paysage. The Lodge at Marconi is set in the hills overlooking Tamales Bay in Northern California. It is a wooden lodge with an inspiring decor, created in former national park buildings. The green colour of the facades blends naturally into the environment, almost disappearing into the landscape. The buildings were converted into a hotel by New York-based design studio Home Studios.
The decor is in the mid-century style, which has become increasingly popular in recent years. And with good reason: it's a beautiful, timeless style, using noble materials such as wood and ceramics to create warm, welcoming interiors. The hotel has 45 bedrooms, some of them family rooms. The professionals who carried out the renovation and decor chose colours that reflected the tones of the landscape. All the furniture is made by local craftsmen, and is both rustic and elegant.
