Tamara et Reinier ont des goûts diamétralement opposés en matière de décoration intérieure. Elle aime le rose, et lui le style un peu plus neutre et minimaliste.  Grâce à l'intervention de la designer Marianne Luning, ils ont réussi à s'entendre sur le style du rez-de-chaussée de leur maison, fait d'un mélange réussi entre leurs différentes envies. La designer a sur leur démontrer que les deux styles qu'ils affectionnent peuvent fonctionner ensemble, et a ajouté un bleu assez vif pour contraster.

Le salon et la cuisine où se trouve la salle à manger, ont été séparés par une verrière en bois, un ajout qui apporte une note contemporaine à leur maison aux Pays-Bas. De l'ancienne décoration qui ressemblait selon leurs dires à celle d'un hôpital, il ne reste rien, et l'ensemble est à la fois coloré et sobre avec ce mélange réussi. A successful mix for a couple's new home decor

Tamara and Reinier have diametrically opposed tastes when it comes to interior decor. She likes pink, and he likes a more neutral, minimalist style. Thanks to the help of designer Marianne Luning, they were able to agree on a style for the ground floor of their home that successfully blended their different tastes. The designer showed them that the two styles they liked could work together, and added a bright blue to contrast.

The living room and kitchen, where the dining room is located, have been separated by a wooden glazed partition, an addition that brings a contemporary note to their home in the Netherlands. Nothing remains of the old decor, which they say resembled that of a hospital, and the combination is both colourful and sober.
