Une maison container avec une grande terrasse pour les vacances

L' Overlook est la dernière maison container avec une grande terrasse conçue par Seth et Emily, le couple d'entrepreneurs désormais célèbre à la tête de The Box Hop. Comme toutes les autres constructions du couple, c'est une maison de vacances située dans l'Ohio destinée à être louée à ceux qui souhaitent s'isoler dans nature et expérimenter ce mode de construction atypique.

Elle domine les paysages vallonnés de Hocking Hills, et se trouve sur un immense terrain qui abrite deux cascades et permet de faire de nombreuses randonnées. On y découvre une grande pièce de vie avec une cuisine ouverte et une cheminée, ainsi que trois chambres confortables. Elle a été construite à partir de quatre conteneurs d'expédition de 40 pieds. Et cerise sur le gâteau, un jacuzzi permet de profiter des vues tout en vous baignant dans l'eau chauffée juste à la perfection !

A container house with a large terrace for holidays

The Overlook is the latest container house with a large terrace designed by Seth and Emily, the now-famous entrepreneurial couple behind The Box Hop. Like all the couple's other buildings, it's a holiday home located in Ohio, designed to be rented out to those who want to get away from it all and experiment with this atypical construction method.

It overlooks the rolling countryside of the Hocking Hills, and sits on a huge plot of land that is home to two waterfalls and numerous hiking trails. There is a large living room with an open-plan kitchen and a fireplace, as well as three comfortable bedrooms. It was built from four 40-foot shipping containers. And to top it all off, there's a jacuzzi so you can enjoy the views while soaking in the perfectly heated water!
