Un deux-pièces loft de 61m2 dans une ancienne usine

Cela fait maintenant plusieurs décennies que les usines du centre-ville de Stockholm ont été définitivement fermées, mais les bâtiments qui les abritaient ont de telles qualités architecturales, qu'il a semblé évident de les transformer en immeubles résidentiels plutôt que de les détruire. C'est dans l'un d'entre eux, Industriverket, qui date de 1897, que se trouve ce deux-pièces loft de 61m2 avec ses beaux éléments qui témoignent de son passé industriel, comme la fenêtre en acier noir qui illumine son intérieur, et son haut plafond à plus de quatre mètres.

It is now several decades since the factories in Stockholm city centre were closed for good, but the buildings that housed them have such architectural qualities that it seemed obvious to transform them into residential buildings rather than demolish them. In one of these buildings, Industriverket, which dates from 1897, you'll find this 61m2 one-bedroom loft with its beautiful features that bear witness to its industrial past, such as the black steel window that illuminates its interior, and its high ceiling of over four metres.

Some might say that this is more of a studio apartment with a mezzanine, but the latter has a surface area of 21m2 and can be considered a room in its own right. The bookcase extends from the floor almost all the way up to the ceiling, adding to the sense of height in the flat. The modern, Scandinavian decor is in keeping with the style of the space, which has been given a new lease of life after being used as a workshop.
