Cette maison en Espagne a un  rez-de-chaussée qui nécessitait des travaux pour devenir plus agréable et fonctionnel. D'une surface de 100m2, c'est un beau volume à réaménager qui a été confié à Wood Estudio, avec un objectif clair : créer plus d'espaces pour la détente, augmenter les rangements, pouvoir prendre ses repas dans la cuisine, et surtout que la rénovation chaleureuse de ce premier niveau crée un endroit confortable où toute la famille aimerait se réunir.

Le salon, qui est au cœur du projet a été repensé totalement pour accueillir tout le monde autour de la cheminée et de la télévision. Dans l'espace dédié à la  salle à manger, une table extensible a été installée pour que toute la famille puisse se réunir autour d'un bon repas. Un mur de rangement avec un petit bureau rétractable occupe un mur. Une autre salle à manger existe à ce niveau et a été équipée avec un dressing car cette pièce sera dans l'avenir transformée en chambre séparée. La cuisine comprend un garde-manger, et a été optimisée en fermant certains passages vers la grande pièce. Après cette rénovation chaleureuse, cette maison dont la décoration joue sur le bois et le blanc, est devenue bien plus fonctionnelle et confortable pour ses propriétaires. Photo : Vicugo Photo

Cosy renovation of the first floor of a house in Spain

This house in Spain has a ground floor that needed work to make it more pleasant and functional. With a surface area of 100m2, it was a beautiful volume to be refurbished that was entrusted to Wood Estudio, with a clear objective: to create more space for relaxation, to increase storage space, to be able to have meals in the kitchen, and above all for the warm renovation of this first level to create a comfortable place where the whole family would like to get together.

The living room, which is at the heart of the project, has been totally redesigned to welcome everyone around the fireplace and television. In the space dedicated to the dining room, an extendable table has been installed so that the whole family can gather around a good meal. A storage wall with a small retractable desk occupies one wall. Another dining room exists on this level and has been fitted with a walk-in wardrobe, as this room will be converted into a separate bedroom in the future. The kitchen includes a pantry, and has been optimised by closing off certain passageways to the great room.
