La nouvelle collection MÄVINN IKEA qui arrive dans nos magasins bientôt célèbre l'artisanat et le savoir-faire des pays d'Asie du sud-est
Après avoir abandonné son gros catalogue IKEA, il y a quelques années, l'enseigne suédois nous propose tout au long des mois, des nouveautés parfois éphémères comme cette nouvelle collection MÄVINN IKEA qui arrive dans nos magasins très bientôt. Elle met à l'honneur l'artisanat, en travaillant en collaboration avec cinq entreprises sociales du Bangladesh, d'Inde et de Jordanie., qui créent des emplois et des formations pour les femmes et les personnes des zones défavorisées.
Cette collection est constituée de 17 produits tous réalisés par ces personnes, qui possèdent un savoir-faire transmis de génération en génération pour le tissage, la broderie, ou le tressage à la main. Tous les produits sont fabriqués à partir de coton ou de jute, provenant d'entreprises éthiques. Le design est pensé à la fois pour ceux qui aiment les intérieurs modernes, mais aussi pour ceux qui veulent ajouter une touche authentique à leur maison. Les chats sont mis à l'honneur pour cette seconde édition, ainsi que les couleurs chaudes se mariant aux tons naturels des matériaux. La nouvelle collection MÄVINN IKEA sera lancée en deux temps : la première moitié sur le site et en magasin dès le 4 septembre 2024, et les éléments suivants en décembre 2024.
After abandoning its big IKEA catalogue a few years ago, the Swedish retailer has been offering us new and sometimes short-lived items all month long, like this new MÄVINN IKEA collection, which will be arriving in our shops very soon. It celebrates craftsmanship, working in collaboration with five social enterprises in Bangladesh, India and Jordan, which create jobs and training for women and people in disadvantaged areas.
This collection is made up of 17 products, all made by these people, who have skills handed down from generation to generation in hand-weaving, embroidery and braiding. All the products are made from ethically sourced cotton or jute. The design is both for those who love modern interiors, but also for those who want to add an authentic touch to their home. Cats are in the spotlight for this second edition, as are the warm colours that combine with the natural tones of the materials. The new IKEA MÄVINN collection will be launched in two phases: the first half on the website and in shops from 4 September 2024, and the following elements in December 2024.
