Construite au 19e siècle, cette maison rouge en bois se trouve dans la campagne suédoise, et a une surface de 80m2. C'est une maison ancienne en rondins, typique des constructions scandinaves. Ancienne propriété d'un boulanger, située au bord du petit lac Brukssjön, elle a été longtemps laissée à l'abandon avant d'être rénovée à la fin des années 1970. Pour la compléter, une maison d'invités du même style a été installée juste à côté d'elle, profitant du même environnement bucolique et charmant.

L'authenticité d'antan se conjugue à un style moderne, et le nouvel aménagement place les espaces de vie au centre.

Formerly owned by a baker on the shores of the little Lake Brukssjön, it was abandoned for a long time before being renovated in the late 1970s. To complete the picture, a guest house in the same style was built next door, enjoying the same charming, bucolic surroundings.
When the current owner extended the house some three years ago, he chose to preserve its cultural and historical character, and the specialist craftsmen worked entirely according to traditional methods. Each new piece is cut by hand and the construction is entirely in accordance with the rules for building a log cabin. The authenticity of yesteryear is combined with a modern style, and the new layout puts living spaces at the centre.
