Lorsque qu'une personne a une sœur architecte, c'est la bonne occasion pour faire construire la maison familiale idéale. Un frère et une sœur qui voulaient vivre en ville, à Buenos Aires, mais avec un jardin se sont associés pour construire cette maison de ville double conçue pour leur deux familles. Les maisons sont "entassées" l'une sur l'autre, chacune avec son patio et sa piscine. Les matériaux utilisés sont homogènes, et l'intérieur aménagé pour chacun selon ses besoins. Les deux maisons ont une surface presque identique.
Il y a la maison A, de l'architecte Cecilia Gomez Abuin, créatrice de El Mono estudio, et de son mari, Santiago Pinasco (propriétaire de la Galerie d'art Espacio Pinasco) et de leurs deux enfants adolescents, qui commence au rez-de-chaussée. Et la maison B de Sebastian qui est ingénieur, le frère de Cecilia, et Constanza Bauzc et de leurs deux jeunes enfants, qui commence un niveau plus haut. Elle donne à la fois sur la rue et sur une cour intérieure et dispose, en outre, d'une terrasse entourée de vert et de sa propre piscine. Cette maison de ville double est conçue comme un petit immeuble pour deux familles, et est parfaitement adaptée au mode de vie de ses occupants, comme ils le désiraient. Photo : Javier Picerno
When someone has a sister who's an architect, it's the perfect opportunity to build the ideal family home. A brother and sister who wanted to live in the city, in Buenos Aires, but with a garden joined forces to build this double townhouse designed for their two families. The houses are “stacked” on top of each other, each with its own patio and swimming pool. The materials used are homogenous, and the interiors are designed to suit the needs of each family. The two houses are almost identical in size.
House A, by architect Cecilia Gomez Abuin, founder of El Mono estudio, and her husband Santiago Pinasco (owner of the Espacio Pinasco art gallery) and their two teenage children, starts on the ground floor. And house B, with Cecilia's brother Sebastian, an engineer, and Constanza Bauzc and their two young children, which starts one level up. It overlooks both the street and an inner courtyard, and also has a terrace surrounded by greenery and its own swimming pool.
