Non loin de l' océan Atlantique, au cœur du quartier ostréicole de La Teste-de-Buch, cette maison en ossature bois de 140 m2 réinvente avec élégance l’esprit du Bassin d’Arcachon. Repensée par une décoratrice d’intérieur, elle marie architecture en ossature bois typique de la région et raffinement discret. Dès l’entrée, la vaste pièce de vie baigne dans la lumière, grâce à de larges ouvertures et un puits zénithal. Les murs anthracite dialoguent avec un sol minéral, soulignant la sobriété des matériaux. Bois, fibres végétales et matières brutes s’accordent avec le paysage environnant, créant une atmosphère sereine.
La cuisine, au design bois et noir, met en valeur des détails choisis : suspensions artisanales, céramiques mates et touches végétales. Elle s’ouvre sur un coin repas prolongé par une terrasse conviviale, abritée sous un auvent en bois partiellement végétalisé, véritable pièce à vivre en extérieur. Dans les chambres, une palette naturelle – blanc, beige, noir – s’allie à un mobilier aux lignes simples. Lin lavé, éclairages doux et fibres tressées composent un cocon apaisant. Not far from the Atlantic Ocean, in the heart of the oyster-farming district of La Teste-de-Buch, this 140 m2 timber-framed house elegantly reinvents the spirit of the Arcachon Basin. Redesigned by an interior designer, it combines the region's typical timber-framed architecture with understated refinement. As soon as you enter, the vast living room is bathed in light, thanks to large windows and a skylight. The anthracite walls contrast with the mineral floor, emphasising the simplicity of the materials. Wood, plant fibres and raw materials blend in with the surrounding landscape, creating a serene atmosphere.
The wood and black designed kitchen highlights carefully chosen details: handcrafted pendant lights, matte ceramics and touches of greenery. It opens onto a dining area extended by a convivial terrace, sheltered under a partially vegetated wooden canopy, a true outdoor living space. In the bedrooms, a natural palette – white, beige, black – is combined with simple lines of furniture. Washed linen, soft lighting and woven fibres create a soothing cocoon.
