Conçue pour dialoguer avec ses voisines victoriennes, elle se distingue par sa façade bicolore en briques et stuc, ses arches et fenêtres circulaires, et son portail vert orné d’un motif sculptural.

Paolo Cossu, l'architecte chargé des rénovations récentes, a renforcé le lien entre la maison et le jardin, notamment dans la cuisine-salle à manger qui donne directement sur l'extérieur. Marbre, parquet en chêne à chevrons, couleurs Farrow & Ball et papiers-peints Cole & Son composent un décor vibrant, moderne et accueillant. Les pièces s’articulent autour de la lumière : salon lumineux au premier étage, chambres élégantes aux étages supérieurs et, tout en haut de la maison,  une suite parentale mansardée, avec rangements sur mesure et salle de bains attenante. À l’extérieur, un jardin pensé pour demander peu d’entretien prolonge l’art de vivre de cette maison unique, où design et confort se rencontrent harmonieusement.

Designed by Christopher Libby in the late 1980s, this unique architect-designed house in London is nestled in the peaceful neighbourhood of Islington. This four-storey house embodies postmodern charm. Designed to blend in with its Victorian neighbours, it stands out with its two-tone brick and stucco façade, arches and circular windows, and green gate adorned with a sculptural motif.

Paolo Cossu, the architect behind the recent renovations, has strengthened the connection between the house and the garden, particularly in the kitchen-dining room, which opens directly onto the outside. Marble, herringbone oak flooring, Farrow & Ball colours and Cole & Son wallpaper create a vibrant, modern and welcoming décor. The rooms are designed around light: a bright living room on the first floor, elegant bedrooms on the upper floors and, at the top of the house, a master suite with sloping ceilings, bespoke storage and an en-suite bathroom.
