Une maison en Argentine repensée pour vivre au rythme du lac
Dans le quartier de Nordelta à Buenos Aires, cette maison en Argentine des années 2000 a troqué ses moulures pour des lignes épurées. Grin Arquitectos l’a transformée en un havre contemporain, tourné vers le lac et baigné de lumière. Cette maison avait oublié son paysage. Trop citadine, trop cloisonnée, elle tournait le dos à l’eau. L’architecte Adriana Grin et son équipe ont tout repris à zéro pour lui rendre sa vraie nature. Balustrades, moulures, fenêtres classiques: tout a disparu. Place à un plan libre où la lumière file d’un bout à l’autre.
Les colonnes en bois structurent l’espace, et remplacent les murs. Parfois elles deviennent une bibliothèque. Le travertin, choisi pour les sols, dialogue avec les plafonds en bois et la pierre naturelle. Ensemble, ils composent une palette élégante et apaisante. Dans le salon, on se réunit autour de la cheminée. Plus loin, la suite parentale vitrée s’ouvre sur le paysage, sans murs ni barrières. Même la façade a changé de peau: recouverte de bois, elle s'intègre à son environnement naturel. In the Nordelta neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, this 2000s house in Argentina has swapped its mouldings for clean lines. Grin Arquitectos has transformed it into a contemporary haven, facing the lake and bathed in light. This house had forgotten its landscape. Too urban, too compartmentalised, it turned its back on the water. Architect Adriana Grin and her team started from scratch to restore it to its true nature. Balustrades, mouldings, classic windows: everything has disappeared. Make way for an open plan where light flows from one end to the other.
Wooden columns structure the space, replacing the walls. Sometimes they become a bookcase. The travertine chosen for the floors interacts with the wooden ceilings and natural stone. Together, they create an elegant and soothing palette. In the living room, people gather around the fireplace. Further on, the glass-walled master bedroom opens onto the landscape, without walls or barriers. Even the façade has been transformed: covered in wood, it blends into its natural surroundings.
