Ce duplex de 52m2 optimisés grâce à sa mezzanine a gagné en volume et en confort grâce à la prise en charge de son aménagement par deux professionnelles aguerries. La hauteur sous plafond de 4m a permis d’ajouter un niveau supérieur bas, mais confortable. Il accueille la zone nuit sans alourdir le volume. L’idée fonctionne très bien et donne un vrai souffle au lieu. En bas, la cuisine et le salon se partagent l’espace. Le mobilier reste léger visuellement. Rien ne coupe la vue depuis les grandes fenêtres. Le canapé et le fauteuil structurent la pièce.
L'architecte Tatiana Yakovleva et la stylise Yulia Kamanina ont choisi des murs peints et un sol mêlé de stratifié et de grès cérame. Ces matériaux rappellent l’esprit industriel du bâtiment d'origine. Elles ne voulaient pas un décor froid dans cet appartement destiné à la location. Elles ont donc ajouté du bois et des textiles chauds. La palette tourne autour des tons neutres, relevé de terre cuite et de moutarde. Le mélange crée une ambiance douce et équilibrée dans cet appartement aux 52m2 optimisés parfaitement. Sous l’escalier, les rangements remplissent leur tache sans s’imposer. La salle de bain joue aussi le contraste. Petits carreaux, peinture et lignes nettes donnent du caractère. L’ensemble reste cohérent et facile à vivre. Photo : Olga Shangina
This 52m2 duplex has been optimised thanks to its mezzanine, gaining in volume and comfort thanks to the interior design work carried out by two seasoned professionals. The 4m high ceilings allowed for the addition of a low but comfortable upper level. It houses the sleeping area without weighing down the space. The idea works very well and gives the space a real lift. Downstairs, the kitchen and living room share the space. The furniture remains visually light. Nothing obstructs the view from the large windows. The sofa and armchair give structure to the room.
Architect Tatiana Yakovleva and stylist Yulia Kamanina chose painted walls and a floor combining laminate and porcelain stoneware. These materials echo the industrial spirit of the original building. They did not want a cold decor in this apartment intended for rental. So they added wood and warm textiles. The colour palette revolves around neutral tones, enhanced with terracotta and mustard. The combination creates a soft and balanced atmosphere in this 52m2 apartment, which has been perfectly optimised. Under the stairs, storage space fulfils its purpose without being obtrusive. The bathroom also plays on contrasts. Small tiles, paint and clean lines give it character. The overall effect is coherent and easy to live with. Photo: Olga Shangina
