Debbie et Jan-Willem ont transformé leur maison familiale à Naaldwijk. C'est une rénovation en style « hotel blend » qui a été choisie par le designer de Vt Wonen, Frans Uyterlinde. Il a apporté des couleurs douces, des matériaux riches et un esprit chic très apaisant dans cette maison des années 30. Le couple vit dans cette maison monumentale avec leurs filles depuis six ans. Mais arriver à mettre en valeur les éléments anciens, du vitrail à la cheminée en marbre, leur semblait inaccessible. C'est le designer qui leur a proposé de créer ce style, comme s'ils séjournaient dans un boutique-hôtel, mais au quotidien.
Le professionnel a joué avec des tons verts et bleus, du velours et quelques touches de marbre. Dans le salon on trouve un canapé modulable en velours bleu-vert. La méridienne file jusqu’à la baie vitrée pour optimiser l’espace. Le tapis rond adoucit la pièce et la table basse réfléchissante ajoute de l’éclat. Les suspensions en verre éclairent sans alourdir. Dans la salle à manger, la grande table ovale ne manque pas d'intérêt avec sa teinte vert tendre. Les encadrements de fenêtres sombres apportent un côté galerie d’art. But they felt it was impossible to showcase the old features, from the stained glass windows to the marble fireplace. It was the designer who suggested creating this style, as if they were staying in a boutique hotel, but on a daily basis.
The professional played with shades of green and blue, velvet, and a few touches of marble. In the living room, there is a modular sofa in blue-green velvet. A chaise longue extends to the bay window to optimize the space. The round rug softens the room, and the reflective coffee table adds sparkle. The glass pendant lights illuminate without weighing down the space. In the dining room, the large oval table is eye-catching with its soft green hue.
