Aménager un studio de 40m2 : une petite surface optimisée avec une chambre semi-fermée

Ce studio de 40m2 prouve qu’un petit espace devient étonnamment fonctionnel quand une professionnelle aguerrie intervient. La designer Anastasia Orekhova a imaginé un aménagement fluide où chaque zone sert vraiment au quotidien. Elle a organisé l’espace pour créer une vraie chambre sans bloquer la lumière. Comme l’alcôve sans fenêtre destinée au lit ne pouvait pas être fermée totalement, elle a choisit une séparation légère. Elle a installé une bibliothèque qui façonne un coin nuit intime tout en laissant circuler la luminosité et la vue.

Le jeune couple propriétaire de ce studio de 40m2 voulait un intérieur pratique, agréable et capable d’accueillir musique, travail et détente. La designer a ajouté un mur près de l’entrée pour structurer les volumes. Les fonctions se sont placées alors naturellement: cuisine compacte, coin repas convivial, salon modulable et espace de travail complet. Pour éviter l’effet “studio standard”, elle a privilégié des pièces sur mesure réalisées avec des matériaux simples mais bien choisis. Le sol en chêne d’ingénierie diffuse une chaleur immédiate, tandis que les murs blancs respectent la demande des clients. L’ensemble reste frais, cohérent et très efficace à vivre. Furnishing a 40m2 studio: a small space optimised with a semi-enclosed bedroom

This 40m2 studio proves that a small space can become surprisingly functional when a seasoned professional gets involved. Designer Anastasia Orekhova has created a fluid layout where each area serves a practical purpose in everyday life. She has organised the space to create a real bedroom without blocking out the light. As the windowless alcove intended for the bed could not be completely closed off, she opted for a light partition. She has installed a bookcase that creates an intimate sleeping area while allowing light and views to flow through.

The young couple who own this 40m2 studio wanted a practical, pleasant interior that could accommodate music, work and relaxation. The designer added a wall near the entrance to structure the space. Its functions then fell into place naturally: a compact kitchen, a convivial dining area, a modular living room and a complete workspace. To avoid the ‘standard studio’ effect, she opted for custom-made pieces made from simple but well-chosen materials.
