Les architectes de Zar Edition ont repensé cet appartement madrilène de 140m2 situé dans un immeuble des années 60. Elles ont misé sur la lumière, les matières naturelles et une distribution entièrement réinventée. L’appartement affichait encore sa configuration d’origine avec une distribution figée et peu exploitable. Le studio d'architecture a pourtant perçu un potentiel immédiat grâce aux grandes fenêtres et à la structure en béton très présente. Cette base a été conservée et mise en valeur, devenant un fil conducteur qui ordonne discrètement l’ensemble.
Les architectes ont imaginé une entrée rythmée par un paravent en bois et verre strié, qui filtre la lumière et crée un passage doux vers l’espace social. Le vaste salon-salle à manger profite de trois fenêtres alignées, offrant une généreuse lumière. Un mobilier aux lignes simples, mêlant bois clair et textiles neutres, a été choisi. La cuisine, fonctionnelle, s’organise en L . Un miroir placé derrière la zone de préparation agrandit subtilement l’espace. Le coin repas introduit une pointe de couleur grâce à deux chaises rouges. Les matériaux, allant du chêne au béton apparent, apportent une atmosphère à la fois originale et maîtrisée. L’ensemble a gagné en fluidité, en luminosité et en confort, sans perdre sa personnalité.
The architects at Zar Edition redesigned this 140m2 apartment in Madrid, located in a 1960s building. They focused on light, natural materials and a completely reinvented layout. The apartment still had its original layout with a fixed and impractical layout. However, the architecture studio saw immediate potential thanks to the large windows and the striking concrete structure. This foundation was preserved and enhanced, becoming a common thread that discreetly ties the whole space together.
The architects designed an entrance punctuated by a wooden and ribbed glass screen, which filters the light and creates a gentle transition to the social space. Its spacious living-dining room benefits from three aligned windows, providing generous light. Furniture with simple lines, combining light wood and neutral textiles, was chosen. The functional kitchen is L-shaped. A mirror placed behind the preparation area subtly enlarges the space. Its dining area adds a touch of colour with two red chairs. The materials, ranging from oak to exposed concrete, create an atmosphere that is both original and controlled. The whole space has gained fluidity, brightness and comfort without losing its personality.
