Dès le mois de janvier la collection IKEA MÄVINN 2026 s'enrichit de 16 nouvelles créations pleines d’énergie. Comme les deux premières, cette collection éthique est fabriquée main avec ROPE, une entreprise indienne soutenant l’emploi artisanal féminin. Le but est d' offrir aux femmes, un travail stable et correctement rémunéré. Le résultat donne une série d’objets faits main qui misent sur des matériaux naturels et des couleurs audacieuses. Avec cette troisième édition de la collection MÄVINN, IKEA réaffirme son engagement en faveur des initiatives sociales, de l’artisanat et des moyens de subsistance durables. Les pays de provenance sont le Bangladesh, l’Inde, l’Indonésie, la Jordanie et la Thaïlande.
Cette nouvelle année, la collection mise sur des verts francs et des jaunes lumineux. On y retrouve des coussins généreux, des tapis texturés, des lampes sculpturales et des paniers tressés avec patience. Les designers Luna Gil et María Vinka ont imaginé des pièces modernes qui gardent pourtant la spontanéité du geste artisanal. Les artisans de ROPE utilisent des fibres comme la jacinthe d’eau, la feuille de bananier ou divers textiles recyclés. Chaque pièce garde une petite irrégularité qui raconte le temps passé entre leurs mains expertes. L’ensemble donne un charme très vivant à la maison et apporte une touche fraîche sans surjouer l’effet décoratif. Certaines pièces sont d'ors et déjà disponibles en magasin (en cliquant sur ce lien). Toutefois, l'ensemble de la collection IKEA MÄVINN 2026 sera disponible en magasin et sur le site dès le 7 janvier.

Like the first two collections, this ethical collection is handmade in collaboration with ROPE, an Indian company that supports female craftsmanship. The goal is to provide women with stable, fairly paid work. The result is a series of handmade objects that focus on natural materials and bold colours. With this third edition of the MÄVINN collection, IKEA reaffirms its commitment to social initiatives, craftsmanship and sustainable livelihoods. The countries of origin are Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Jordan and Thailand.
This new year, the collection focuses on bold greens and bright yellows. It features generous cushions, textured rugs, sculptural lamps and patiently woven baskets. Designers Luna Gil and María Vinka have created modern pieces that retain the spontaneity of craftsmanship. ROPE's artisans use fibres such as water hyacinth, banana leaves and various recycled textiles. Each piece retains a slight irregularity that tells the story of the time spent in their expert hands. The collection brings a lively charm to the home and adds a fresh touch without overdoing the decorative effect. Some items are already available in store (by clicking on this link).
