Un appartement de vacances de 35m2 au design audacieux
Le studio Mistovia a transformé un petit appartement à Katowice en Pologne avec une audace surprenante. Les couleurs franches, les matières travaillées et les trouvailles vintage dynamisent un espace repensé pour paraître plus généreux. Les designers ont osé une esthétique pleine d’énergie dans cet appartement de vacances de 35m2. Le lieu occupe le 11e étage d’un immeuble des années 1970, et bénéficie d’une vue directe sur plusieurs bâtiments culturels emblématiques de la ville. Les designers ont voulu créer un intérieur marquant pour attirer l’œil des futurs vacanciers cherchant une location pratique et inspirante. Les cloisons ont presque toutes disparu, laissant place à un studio fluide baigné de lumière.
Le béton d’origine reste visible, donnant un relief brut aux volumes redessinés par les blocs de verre de la salle de bain. Cette paroi courbe apporte un éclairage naturel inattendu, renforçant l’effet d’ouverture générale. Mistovia a récupéré plusieurs meubles anciens conservés dans cet appartement de vacances, puis leur a offert un rôle différent. Une commode est devenue élément de cuisine, tandis qu’une armoire encadre désormais la télévision. Les pièces vintage dialoguent avec des éléments plus actuels, comme les chaises courbées Paged et la table noire installée près de la cuisine en acier inoxydable. Le terrazzo, clin d’œil à l’histoire locale, couvre l’entrée et les zones techniques. Une porte bleue vive anime la salle de bain, complétée par un rideau rouge brique. The Mistovia studio has transformed a small apartment in Katowice, Poland, with surprising boldness. Bold colors, refined materials, and vintage finds energize a space that has been redesigned to appear more spacious. Designers have dared to create an energetic aesthetic in this 35m2 vacation apartment. The apartment is located on the eleventh floor of a 1970s building and enjoys direct views of several of the city's iconic cultural buildings. The designers wanted to create a striking interior to attract the attention of future vacationers looking for a practical and inspiring rental. Almost all the partitions have been removed, giving way to a fluid studio bathed in light.
The original concrete remains visible, giving a raw texture to the spaces redesigned by the glass blocks in the bathroom. This curved wall provides unexpected natural lighting, enhancing the overall feeling of openness. Mistovia salvaged several pieces of antique furniture from this vacation apartment and gave them a new purpose. A chest of drawers has been repurposed as a kitchen unit, while a cabinet now frames the television. Vintage pieces interact with more contemporary elements, such as the curved Paged chairs and the black table installed near the stainless steel kitchen. Terrazzo, a nod to local history, covers the entrance and utility areas. A bright blue door enlivens the bathroom, complemented by a brick-red curtain.
