Un appartement de 80m2 aux nuances de gris sur les quais
Dans un immeuble des années 1930, la designer Natalia Belonogova, fondatrice de NB studio, a transformé un intérieur daté pour elle-même. Lors de la première visite, elle a découvert un appartement cloisonné au charme clairement dépassé. Papier peint rayé, circulation confuse et volumes fermés imposaient une refonte complète des espaces existants. Le plan a été totalement reconfiguré, seul l'emplacement de la salle de bains avec fenêtre a été conservé. Les espaces sont désormais ouverts, lumineux et graphiques dans cet appartement de 80m2 aux nuances de gris. Ainsi, le salon, la cuisine et le dressing ont fusionné après la suppression de l’ancienne entrée vitrée. On a obtenu une grande pièce traversante, baignée de lumière, ouverte sur la ville et le fleuve.
Les murs à l’aspect béton ont été réalisés par superpositions de peintures pigmentées. Natalia assume son amour du gris, devenu fil conducteur de l'appartement. Les fenêtres, appuis et radiateurs d’origine ont été restaurés pour préserver l’âme du lieu. La cuisine ouverte s’organise désormais autour de deux blocs très distincts et volontairement contrastés. Un meuble en bois massif signé Denis Milovanov dissimule électroménager et rangements généreux. Face à lui, un espace de travail métallique évoque une cuisine de chef professionnel. Cette configuration accompagne parfaitement la vie sociale et créative de la designer. Les objets personnels, les céramiques artisanales et les pièces vintage apportent une réelle personnalité à cet appartement de 80m2 aux nuances de gris. In a 1930s building, designer Natalia Belonogova, founder of NB studio, transformed a dated interior for herself. During her first visit, she discovered a compartmentalised flat with clearly outdated charm. Striped wallpaper, confusing circulation and closed-off spaces required a complete overhaul of the existing areas. The layout was completely reconfigured, with only the location of the bathroom with a window remaining unchanged. Spaces are now open, bright and graphic in this 80m2 apartment decorated in shades of grey. The living room, kitchen and dressing room were merged after removing the old glass entrance, creating a large, light-filled room that opens onto the city and the river.
The concrete-look walls were created by layering pigmented paints. Natalia embraces her love of grey, which has become the apartment's central theme. The original windows, window sills and radiators have been restored to preserve the soul of the place. The open-plan kitchen is now organised around two very distinct and deliberately contrasting blocks. A solid wood cabinet by Denis Milovanov conceals appliances and generous storage space. Opposite it, a metal work area evokes a professional chef's kitchen. This layout perfectly complements the designer's social and creative life. Personal objects, handmade ceramics and vintage pieces bring real personality to this 80m2 apartment decorated in shades of grey.
