Perchée sur la Serra da Esperança, cette petite maison A-Frame au Portugal invite à se déconnecter en pleine nature. Elle regarde la Serra da Estrela et représente une expérience simple, sincère, profondément apaisante pour deux. Ici, le paysage impose son tempo et efface le stress du quotidien.  Inspirée des anciennes cabanes de bergers, l’architecture revisite les "Choças" régionales avec une écriture actuelle. Elle fait partie du site exploité par The Vagar Country House, installé sur un vaste domaine montagneux préservé.

Imaginés par Filipe Pina Arquitectura, les abris adoptent une structure triangulaire caractéristique en bois et le pignon vitré qui les rend si lumineuses. Ce dernier cadre la vallée de la Cova da Beira et vous imaginez être au bout du monde. À l’intérieur, tout est compact, pensé pour vivre lentement, dormir profondément, observer longtemps. La chaleur du bois, le confort de la maison, vous procurent un sentiment profond de bien-être. Chaque module s’adapte au relief naturel, limitant l’impact sur ce territoire rural historique. A small A-frame house in Portugal inspired by shepherds' huts

Perched on the Serra da Esperança, this small A-frame house in Portugal invites you to disconnect in the heart of nature. It overlooks the Serra da Estrela and offers a simple, sincere and deeply soothing experience for two. Here, the landscape sets the pace and washes away the stress of everyday life. Inspired by ancient shepherds' huts, the architecture revisits the regional ‘Choças’ with a contemporary twist. It is part of the site operated by The Vagar Country House, set on a vast, unspoilt mountain estate.

Designed by Filipe Pina Arquitectura, the shelters feature a distinctive triangular structure made of  wood and a glass gable that makes them so bright. The latter frames the Cova da Beira valley, making you feel like you are at the end of the world. Inside, everything is compact, designed for slow living, deep sleep and long observation. The warmth of the wood and the comfort of the house give you a deep sense of well-being. Each module adapts to the natural terrain, limiting the impact on this historic rural area.
