Conceived as an elegant retreat, this house on the Black Sea coast was designed by interior architect Valeriia Franzhulo, founder and director of FRANZHULO Design. She envisioned a space where every detail harmonizes with the surrounding landscape. The house spans two levels with a meticulously planned layout. Its large windows invite the eye to wander freely toward the outdoors. This constant connection with the garden visually expands the rooms.
The ground floor features an open living area, a kitchen, a guest bedroom, and a bathroom. Upstairs, several bedrooms enjoy direct access to the light-filled terraces. Spaces are simple, yet the decor is full of personality.
The living room sets the tone with a central painting that inspires the entire color palette. Blue is omnipresent in soft tones. The materials are natural and artisanal, featuring wood, ceramics, and textiles chosen for their presence.
The color palette plays a key role in the perception of the interior space. Shades of blue evoke the sea and bring an immediate sensation of fresh air. Terracotta and wood tones balance the overall look by adding warm accents. This contrast creates a calm atmosphere that is never monotonous.
