Daniella et Fredrik ne perdent pas de temps. Après une brève discussion au sujet des meubles blancs dans la cuisine, le couple a sorti les pinceaux et une heure plus tard, les meubles étaient noirs. C'est cette envie de mettre en pratique des idées nouvelles, au lieu d'y réfléchir longuement, qui les a poussé à acheter cet ancien haras. Ils l'ont repéré le vendredi et le lundi, ils signaient les papiers. Ils ont ensuite travaillé d'arrache-pied pour rénover ces anciennes écuries en maison familiale en sept semaines. En les voyant évoluer chez eux, on comprend mieux comment ils ont réussi à créer cet intérieur ouvert et chaleureux en si peu de temps.

 

Renovated stables in Sweden

Daniella and Fredrik don’t waste time. After debating if the white finish on the base of their kitchen is too bright for the space, the couple get out their paint rollers and, within an hour, turn it black. Their willingness to try an idea out rather than just think about it helped them buy this old horse farm. They saw it online on a Friday and by Monday they were signing the paperwork. Then they worked flat out to turn the former stable house into a family home in just seven weeks. Seeing them work around each other, you realise how they managed to create this warm, open home in such a short time.
