Quand la famille s'agrandit mais qu'on a pas envie de déménager, ou simplement lorsqu'on habite dans un studio assez grand, on a parfois envie de créer une chambre supplémentaire, et il y a bien des façons de le faire. Mezzanine quand la hauteur sous plafond est suffisante, ou comme ici dans cet appartement, en diminuant l'espace cuisine qui était grand, et en transformant une partie de cette surface en chambre. La bonne idée a été de vitrer cette pièce sur les deux côtés, celui qui permet à la cuisine d'être éclairée en second jour, l'ouverture possible, permettant d'aérer la pièce, et de l'autre côté pour garder la sensation d'espace dans le salon. Dans un appartement avec un grand salon, on peut également quand cela est possible techniquement d'installer la cuisine directement dans cette pièce, et de récupérer l'ancienne cuisine en la transformant en chambre, pour peu qu'elle soit  d'une surface acceptable.

How to create an extra bedroom in an apartment?
When the family gets bigger but you don't want to move, or just when you live in a big studio, you sometimes want to create an extra bedroom, and there are many ways to do it. Mezzanine when the ceiling height is sufficient, or as here in this apartment, decreasing the kitchen space which was large, and transforming a part of this surface into a bedroom. The good idea was to glaze this room on both sides, the one that allows the kitchen to be become a borrowed light room, with the possibility of  opening, allowing to ventilate the room, and on the other side to keep the feeling o space in the living room. In an apartment with a large living room, you can also, when technically possible, to install the kitchen directly in this room, and to recover the former kitchen by transforming it into a bedroom, if it's of an acceptable surface .
