Les propriétaires de The Priory Barn, anciennement habitant à Londres ont décidé de s'installer dans la campagne anglaise, dans le Suffolk plus précisément. La rénovation d'une ancienne grange délabrée de cette région témoigne de leur attachement aux habitations anciennes. The owners of The Priory Barn, formerly living in London, decided to move to the English countryside, to Suffolk to be precise. The renovation of an old dilapidated barn in this region shows their attachment to old houses. But they have not forgotten the contemporary style, which is often successful when mixed with houses that have had another life. They have cladded part of the exterior in wood, although they have kept the interior with its original elements. They opened up the spaces, added furniture that is part of the 20th century design classics, like Marcel Breuer's Cesca chairs. The house overlooks a pond where ducks paddle, and offers a very relaxing bucolic life.
