Casa Granero est une grange en métal moderne et noire conçue par Alberich-Rodríguez Arquitectos en Espagne. Elle est au commencement d'un projet qui sera ensuite agrandi par une construction annexe, et complété par l'installation d'un ancien wagon de chemin de fer sur la même parcelle qui servira de chambre d'amis. Son architecture est inspirée par celle des granges anciennes de la région.

Les deux étages sont distribués avec la zone jour au premier niveau, et la zone nuit et ses deux chambres au second, illuminés par le pignon entièrement vitré qui donne sur le paysage aride de la sierra environnante. Des colonnes métalliques et des dalles en béton armé assurent la structure de l'édifice, et l'isolation est à base de laine de roche recouverte de tôle d'aluminium laquée de couleur anthracite. L'extérieur de cette grange en métal moderne possède une allure de grande modernité, pendant qu'à l'intérieur, l'aménagement simple est celui d'une maison de vacances familiale décontractée.  Photo : Imagen Subliminal

Modern black metal barn in Spain

Casa Granero is a modern black metal barn designed by Alberich-Rodríguez Arquitectos in Spain. It is the beginning of a project that will later be extended with an annex building, and completed with the installation of an old railway carriage on the same plot to be used as a guest room. Its architecture is inspired by the old barns of the region.

The two floors are distributed with the day area on the first level, and the night area and its two bedrooms on the second, illuminated by the fully glazed gable that overlooks the arid landscape of the surrounding sierra. Metal columns and reinforced concrete slabs provide the structure of the building, and the insulation is based on rock wool covered with anthracite-coloured lacquered aluminium sheet.
