Un appartement classique et ancien rénové pour être mis en location
Cet appartement classique et ancien a été rénové en Espagne pour être mis en location meublée par l'entremise de Let's Room. Les propriétaires désiraient lui apporter de la modernité tout en conservant ses beaux éléments anciens, et c'est ce qui a été réalisé par la décoratrice Leticia Rodriguez de la Fuente, qui devait respecter une condition ; ne pas supprimer de cloisons, comme on a souvent l'habitude de le faire pour appartement classique et ancien pour le rendre plus fonctionnel.
La décoratrice a donc proposé une nouvelle organisation des espaces sans toucher aux murs existants, en créant une seconde salle de bain (car s'il était obligatoire de conserver les cloisons existantes, il n'était pas interdit d'en monter de nouvelles !), et à rendre lumineuses même la chambre sans fenêtre grâce à l'utilisation de portes vitrées donnant sur un couloir éclairé par la lumière naturelle. La décoration sur une base de noir et blanc, et des détails en matériaux naturels comme le bois ou les fibres végétales est venue apporter une touche de modernité supplémentaire tout en mettant en valeur les éléments anciens conservés. This classic, old flat was renovated in Spain for furnished rental through Let's Room. The owners wanted to bring modernity to the property while keeping its beautiful old elements, and this was achieved by the interior designer Leticia Rodriguez de la Fuente, who had to respect one condition; not to remove any partitions, as is often done in classic and old flats to make them more functional.
The designer therefore proposed a new organisation of the spaces without touching the existing walls, creating a second bathroom (because although it was compulsory to keep the existing partitions, it was not forbidden to build new ones!), and to make the windowless bedroom bright thanks to the use of glass doors opening onto a corridor lit by natural light. The decoration, based on black and white, and details in natural materials such as wood and plant fibres, gave an additional touch of modernity while highlighting the old elements that had been preserved.
