Les Hunters Houses gèrent trois maisons dans les Catskills, une région non loin de New York, où les citadins peuvent se ressourcer en pleine nature. The Cabin est l'une d'elle. C'est une petite maison en bois avec deux chambres, et une terrasse aménagée aménagée au milieu des arbres à laquelle on accède par un chemin de bois, de façon atypique. Construite dans les années 1930, cette maison simple a été rénovée pour être mise en location par l'entremise d'Airbnb (en cliquant sur ce lien). Fait amusant, tout ce qui est à l'intérieur peut être acheté par les voyageurs qui y résident.
La maison est isolée au milieu de la forêt et ses larges fenêtres s'ouvre sur cette verdure bienfaisante. Une rivière coule à quelques pas, et les journées peuvent se passer à écouter le bruit du vent dans les arbres, le clapotis de l'eau, et tout simplement à se reposer sur cette terrasse aménagée aménagée au milieu des arbres, avec sa cheminée extérieure si les soirées sont plus fraîches. The Hunters Houses operate three houses in the Catskills, a region not far from New York City, where city dwellers can recharge their batteries in the middle of nature. The Cabin is one of them. It's a small wooden house with two bedrooms and a deck in the trees that is accessed by a wooden path in an atypical way. Built in the 1930s, this simple house has been renovated for rental through Airbnb (by clicking on this link). Fun fact, everything inside can be purchased by the travellers staying there.
The house is secluded in the middle of the forest and its large windows open onto this beneficial greenery. A river runs just a few steps away, and days can be spent listening to the sound of the wind in the trees, the lapping of the water, and simply relaxing on the terrace in the trees, with its outdoor fireplace if the evenings are cooler. The work of the owners to retain the original soul of The Cabin has been remarkable.
